I chose my advertising essay because it made me think like an essayists and think about our world. I had to stick to the main idea and try to at least write five paragraphs. My introductory paragraph included the thesis statement that clearly states the writer’s position. Each of my paragraphs addressed the main idea of the five paragraph essay. I also had proof that supported the thesis. I also gave each paragraph a topic sentence as proof and I also gave each paragraph three proof sentences that were related to the topic paragraph. Also each proof paragraph includes appropriate examples and details and other evidence to support the writers argument. I also used the successful paragraph method and the concluding paragraph restates the thesis without being repetitive. Then, when I was done I edited.
